Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. It covers first aid rules and regulations, aims & principles of first aid and the role of the first aider. Responding to emergencies. Primary survey. Recovery position. Resuscitation (adult CPR). The chain of survival. Assessment and treatment of casualties who are bleeding, chocking, in shock, burns, scalds, fractures and dislocations. Communication and Record keeping. First aid kits.
